Gynecomastia Treatment<\/h1>\n

Gynecomastia is the term used to describe the enlargement of male breasts. Despite still being a taboo subject, gynecomastia is very common in men of all ages who tend to feel very uneasy with the appearance of their chest.<\/p>\n

Even though the condition may be monitored and treated with medication and lifestyle alterations, doctors recommend surgery for persistent cases.<\/p>\n

The type of surgery used to treat gynecomastia is known as a mastectomy, whereby breast gland tissue is removed through a tiny incision on the areola. Liposuction can be used at the end of the surgery to create a harmonious appearance of the breasts.<\/p>\n
